January Meeting Notice

DESCRIPTION:

The GBC-ASA joint meeting with the Narragansett Chapter will feature guest speaker, Don Massa, from Massa Products Corporation.

 The topic of discussion will be an overview of the similarities and differences between the construction and operation of electroacoustic transducers designed for sound underwater as compared to those intended for operation in air.

 This presentation will discuss the design, construction, and application of a number of different types of underwater and air transducers.  Many different physical examples will be shown of some of the transducers and electroacoustic systems that Massa Products Corporation has designed and manufactured over the last half century.

DIRECTIONS:

Route 95/128 to Route 93/128 Take exit for Route 3 South
Take the Washington St. exit number 18- towards T station/Quincy Center. Keep Left at the fork in the ramp to merge onto Thomas S Burgin Parkway.
Take right onto Washington Street which merges with Route 3A South towards Hingham.
Route 3A south becomes Lincoln Street in Hingham
